How to: Add Images and Videos to Asset Manager

Easily add and manage your project images and videos

via the Asset Manager!

Swap and Add New Images to your Page Builder

DIY STEPS

  1. In Studio, navigate to the wireflow and find the activity in which you’d like to edit and add images or videos.

  2. Click on the three-dot ellipses on the right and choose edit to open your activity.

  3. To add, upload or swap out images follow these steps:

    1. To add or swap out an image, hover over it, click on the image, and then select the pencil icon that pops up. This will open the edit panel on the right.

  4. Click the “+” sign which will allow you to add a new image - OR click the "Garbage can" to delete the existing image, then click the "+" sign.

  5. A new window will pop up known as your Asset Manager. From here you can choose an existing image from the list that has already been added, OR upload images from your desktop.

    1. To add a new image, go to the bottom left and select “+ Add new…”

    2. Select your image (or batch of images) from your desktop, let them load, then click on the image file you just uploaded and press “Select” and then “Save.”

  2. Scroll down to the bottom of that panel to find the section “Asset Type” and select the asset type you would like, "Image".

  3. Click the “+” sign which will allow you to add a new image.

  4. A new window will pop up known as your Asset Manager. From here you can choose an existing image from the list that has already been added, OR upload images from your desktop.

  5. To add a new image, go to the bottom left and select “+ Add new…”

  6. Select your image (or batch of images) from your desktop, let them load, then click on the image file you just uploaded and press “Select” and then “Save.”

To add, upload or swap out a video, follow a similar process:

  1. In the editor view of the activity, choose where you want to add your video, hover over it, click on it, and then select the pencil icon that pops up. This will open the edit panel on the right.

  2. Scroll down to the bottom of that panel to find the section “Asset Type” and select "Video".

  3. Click the “+” sign which will allow you to add a new video.

  4. In the Asset Manager window, choose an existing video from the list, OR upload videos from your desktop.

  5. To add a new video, go to the bottom left and select “+ Add new…”

  6. Select your video from your desktop, let it load, then click on the video file you just uploaded and press “Select” and then “Save.”

Being able to add images and videos gives you the flexibility to customize your learning and provide different visuals for your audience.

Studio Image Specs

  • Supported file types: .jpg, .png

  • Max file size: 100 Mb

  • Ideal Resolutions:

    • Best Practice: Web optimized image standard is 72 dpi

    • For larger/full-page images (i.e. background or full page builder window) = Full HD res (1920x1080)

    • For small - medium images (i.e. add-on or within in slideshow) = HD res (1280x720)

Studio Video Specs

  • Supported file types: .mp4 .ogg .webm .mov

  • Max file size: 100 Mb

  • Ideal Resolutions:

    • Larger/full page video (i.e. full page builder window) = Full HD res (1920x1080)

    • Small - medium video (i.e. add-on or within in activity) = HD res (1280x720)
