Who is this for?	Beginning Super Users (Designers & Developers) What is a Super User? A Super User is a highly proficient SimGate™ creator who goes beyond the basics and needs to master end-to-end advanced platform features, design strategies, and best practices. They plan to be the go-to experts within their teams, leveraging SimGate’s full capabilities to build complex, high-impact learning experiences. The Super User Path works toward earning a badge "Essentials of Learning Design and Development, with SimGate™" - see more details below.
What You Will Gain	After completing the Foundations of Design & Development, with SimGate™ training you will gain: Confidence & Core Skills – Build awareness, navigate the platform, and master essential tasks. AI-Powered Design – Learn to streamline discovery and content creation with ReX, your GenAI co-author. Hands-On Practice – Draft learner personas, objectives, and refine AI-generated outputs. Earning your Badge	“Essentials of Learning Design and Development, with SimGate™” Badge Overview: In this foundational series of courses, participants explore Regis’ AI-driven, Human-centered design approach and gain skills to utilize SimGate’s tool suite for crafting practice-based, experiential learning programs. Earning Criteria* (click arrow to expand section) This badge acknowledges the successful completion of the following courses: Super User Path: Foundations of Design & Development with SimGate™ Prototype Development, with SimGate™ (Coming April 2025) 10-12 hours of multi-modal instruction, consisting of 2 courses and live virtual sessions. Completed foundational trainings and built a Project Prototype to gain hands-on experience applying their new skills and to demonstrate their foundational grasp of SimGate design and development skills Conduct self-evaluation with the Regis Success team. Badges are issued via Credly and shareable on your social media profiles!

Each self-guided module in this course is carefully designed to build your understanding, strengthen your skills, and guide you toward tool proficiency and autonomy. You'll progress step by step, learning how to leverage SimGate’s suite of tools to accelerate your design efforts and create impactful learning experiences.

Intro to SimGate™ | All Roles

Foundations of Design & Development with SimGate™ consists of four essential modules that you’ll need to complete.

1️⃣ Foundations of Design: Accelerate Discovery + Design with GenAI

AI-Powered Design – Learn to streamline discovery and content creation with ReX, your GenAI co-author.
Hands-On Practice – Draft learner personas, objectives, and refine AI-generated outputs.

2️⃣ Intro to What’s Possible w/Studio: 50+ Page Sample Project Exploration

Creative Exploration – Unlock Studio’s key resources—pages, activities, and reports—to inspire engaging, interactive project

3️⃣ Intro to SimGate Studio, Basics

Build Confidence & Core Skills – Explore and edit a sample project while mastering navigation, duplication, and essential tasks in Portal and Studio.
Hands-On Discovery – Uncover key features through an interactive scavenger hunt and gain a strong foundation in SimGate’s tools.

4️⃣ Intro to SimGate Studio, Advanced Features

Personalization & Engagement – Discover how AI Avatars, adaptive branching, and scoring reports create dynamic, immersive experiences.
Advanced Techniques - Explore setting up branching, scoring, and feedback reports to optimize learning impact and real-world application!

Head to Step 2 to submit your work and officially complete your training! This final step unlocks access to advanced trainings and sets you up for success in SimGate.
