⚠️ IMPORTANT!! Not seeing the pages in a library?

To access the latest content in all libraries, you will want to ensure the library has fully finished loading or has finished it's refresh - this can take a bit (depending on connection speeds and size of library chosen).

Finish Library Loading

You will know the libraries have completed loading when the cloud icon is no longer spinning, but has the check indicator (see red box in image below):

Missing Pages?

If you are not seeing pages you recently added to a library, you may need to refresh the library. Once complete, your libraries will reflect the most up-to-date shared content.

How to Refresh Libraries:

  • DIY STEPS

    • In a project, click on the cloud icon next to your project name on the right side of your top navigation

    • Screenshot 2024-05-01 at 3.01.30 PM.png
    • Click on the checkmark next to where it says “All libraries are updated. Click to refresh.”

NOTE: When you first add a page to a library - for it to be immediately available for use in another project, you MUST "refresh your libraries or browser" to capture the update made to the library in BOTH projects (e.g. the source project AND the destination project).

FAQ

How do I find more information on Shared Libraries?

How do I share a page outside of my project? Does it have to be done via a library?

  • All page sharing (outside of a project) needs be done via the Library Feature.

  • Once shared to a Library, you can access that page/template in all of your other projects and can share it to an Enterprise Library so your colleagues can also use it!

Are all content, theme and assets are carried over via Shared Library pages?

  • Library pages will include page-level content, assets, and design elements, but they do not carry over the library or project's global theme settings (e.g., interface, fonts, spacing, universal background etc).

Importing Projects and from ReX to Studio + Global Library Pages

  • When a ReX author imports a project template into Studio using "replace whole flow," it is to aligned to a Studio Global Library that users can access.

    • This library is only accessible through the Library filter within the "Add New" page in the Studio wireflow.

  • By selecting “replace whole flow”, within an imported project, users can add pages from that Studio global library to ensure consistency in look and feel

    • If you have not imported the entire flow then the project never imports the theme. Once you have imported the “whole flow” individual pages that are added will import with the library theme.

  • Theme and Layout Inheritance:

    • If “replace whole flow” is not selected during the first import, the page will not inherit the theme and page layout settings from the library

    • Selecting “replace whole flow” ensures the imported project follows the libraries theme and page layout
