*Addons should only be used on COA, List Builder and Scenario activity.
Create Your Activity Pages
Once a user completes the PreRequisite steps, instructions appear to direct the user to create their activity pages. You'll follow the same cadence to choose your Simulation Activity templates, complete the prompts, and generate your project's content.

⚠️ ALERT! To successfully export content - you MUST run all the steps to generate and validate the content for EACH of your chosen activities and pages. (e.g. welcome, intro, scenario, list builder etc). If you do not do these steps, you will get an error in SimGate Studio when trying to paste the content since there is no content generated.
DIY Steps
Choose which page and template types you want ReX to create for your wireflow (the number of activities and pages is up to you but should be made of these key elements).
Follow the same cadence as the prerequisites to complete the prompts, and generate your project's content.
Validate and refine Rex's outputs.
Finalize any edits in ReX
Make sure all of your Simulation Pages are fully generated or they won't be included when you export to Studio.
Export your content.
Export your Content
Finally, export your content and paste it into SimGate Studio! Watch the magic happen as SimGate builds your project and inserts your content!

Don't forget to always use a newly created project in SimGate Studio! ReX export will override any existing states/pages.

ReX Addon Templates
What is an Addon Template?
Addon templates are used to support the activity to which they are attached. Simply put they are “added on” to an activity template. Currently, the Addon Activities can be used with the following templates in ReX:
Scenario Activity
List Builder Activity
COA Activity
Addons: Decision Rationale and Perspectives
There are two addon activities to choose from:
Decision Rationale: The decision rationale template should be used if you want the learner to reflect on the challenge presented in the activity it’s attached to. The learner sees the decision rationale after they have answered the question.
Perspectives: The perspectives template should be used if you want the learner to take into account various perspectives before answering the question.
You can attach both addons to a single activity.

DIY Steps
To use an addon template in ReX, first complete one of the following activity types:
Scenario Activity
List Builder Activity
COA Activity
Once you’ve completed an activity, then you can click on the activity in the left navigation, and click on the ellipse:
Then click on the +Add Addon button, and select the addon you’d like to add to your course:
Follow the template prompts to complete the addon template. Click continue when finished.
If you’d like to add another Addon template, follow steps 2-4.
