"Access" levels vary and depend on the platform tool

Portal and Studio

  • Used to manage, create, and edit projects.

  • Only clients with an active subscription and a specified number of licensed users will have access to SimGate Studio and Portal.

  • Licensed users have their own unique login and there is only one level of access (it is ALL access to Portal/Studio).

    • They can share reviewer links and test links with others for feedback and testing (these links are different than the published URLs a participant would access to take the course). Both of these links will require

  • Regis is the only one who can grant access or swap licensed users.

  • Studio Reviewer links

    • Create a unique link to send to reviewers (SMEs, Stakeholders, Editors etc)

    • Reviewers can

      • Login with a nickname (email optional, password not required)

      • Add comments to each page within the project

      • Navigate within the project via page interactions (same as a participant) or the round and state navigation drop-downs (same as an Author)

  • Studio Test links

    • Test links are intended for the author, their reviewers, SMEs, QA teams, and/or clients to review your project as the learner will see it and make sure the sim functions as intended in SimPlayer before doing a final public release.

    • Test Link Access

      • To view Test links, users need to be registered users in their enterprise Dashboard OR Sign Up at login

      • Anyone who is already registered within the enterprise, WITH access to this specific link, will be able to view the test link.

        • If they have an account but forgot their password, have them select the “Reset password” and follow the password recovery process.

        • If they do not have a registered account, have them select the “Sign up” link.

          • From there they will be prompted to create an account.

          • Once they create an account, they will be able to proceed to the simulation with that special test link provided.

Dashboard

  • Used to manage the deployment of courses and facilitate sessions.

  • There are many different access levels for the dashboard and depend upon the user's role, including what they can see or do:

    • Super Admins, Regional Admins, and Project Admins

      • Regis will initially set up a client administrator with Super Admin access

      • Administrators and Super Administrators own the overall setup and management of the course

      • Administrators have a view of all sections you see on the landing page, along with session details, user details, and course data/reports.

      • Only super admins can create other admins, facilitators, or sessions.

    • Facilitators

      • Facilitators will have access to the Sessions they belong to, the Users who are part of their sessions, their own enrolled sessions, and the session details/answer choices/data/reports.

    • Participants (End-user)

      • Participants will only see the Enrolled Sessions that they have been assigned to.
