Streamline Access with SimGate SSO: One Click, Endless Possibilities!

Effortless sign-on experience across your organization, seamless integration with Google and Microsoft identity providers

Regis provides authentication to the SimGate tool suite through SSO (Single Sign-On) via third-party identity providers.

Setting up SSO will allow users to log in and access SimGate Studio, Portal, Dashboard, and/or SimPlayer through the setup SSO provider (Google or Microsoft) through a new login button. We support SAML 2.0 and your configured identity provider will authenticate users through this signin protocol.

Currently supported SSO providers:

  • Google

  • Microsoft

What does integrating SSO mean for your company?

  • SAML-based Single sign-on (SSO) will allow your organization to login without needing the standard email and password.

    • You can disable the default login and require all users log in through the SSO identity provider.

  • Clicking the SSO login button will redirect users to login via the identity provider’s platform and upon successful login, will redirect the user back to the Regis application as an authenticated user.

    • A user must be configured correctly in your SSO provider's workspace with an email, first name, and last name in order to be authenticated and receive access. Without these fields, a user may not be able to log in to the systems.

    • Users who first log in to the system will be given the default role - an admin can give that user a specific role if necessary.

Enabling SSO

Enabling SSO can be configured through enterprise settings accessed through SimGate Portal and will apply to your entire organization and organization members.

  • These settings are accessible to administrators only and should be configured by your IT team as enabling SSO requires access to the identity provider’s workspace settings.

  • We currently support Google and Microsoft Entra and set-up articles can be found for each provider.

  • To support other SSO providers, please contact Regis directly to inquire about any additional steps.
