Uploading and Using "Documents"

We suggest viewing in FULL SCREEN!

How to Add a Document

Click on the dark grey "Add documents" button on the upper right navigation bar.

Click on the grey Upload bar or drop document files into it.

NOTE: Only PDF documents can be uploaded at this time.

Choose a folder and name your topic, click UPLOAD.

To find your uploaded documents and folders, go to the documents tab in your upper right navigation bar.

💡TIP: ReX works best with text-based PDFs. Documents with minimal graphics yield the best results, as graphic-heavy files may not be processed as effectively. Keep this in mind when choosing PDFs to upload!

How to Interact with your Documents

First, Create a new Context. Find the Context tab in the upper right Navigation bar.

To create a new Context - choose "Add context"

In the Add / Edit Context pop-up page, there is a drop-down in the bottom right that says Ask: ReX - Choose "Documents"

Click the Gear icon to choose which document you want to be referenced.

In the query bar, type in your question or prompt and press the red button to start generating your content.

  • e.g. "Summarize this document into four key points"

Your output will also include references!

How to Create a Context from the ReX Document Output

Choose the plus sign (+) next to the section output that you want to use to create a context.

In the Context tab, your text is brought over, name it, and SAVE it.

Now you have a new context that references your document!

Using your Contexts to Generate Bespoke Content

Referencing "Contexts" at the Prompt Level:

Click on the Gear Icon

Choose the Context tab, which allows you to add “contexts” for the AI to reference as part of that output.

The contexts you have created will be listed in that tab. Select as many as you want.

Choose the Refresh Icon to generate your content.

-> ReX will now reference these contexts when answering your prompts.
