Login to SimGate Portal
Find the project that you would like to duplicate and make your own.
Following the video instructions - duplicate that project into “My Projects” to make a personal copy or your companies public "Enterprise" folder.
Go to "My Projects" to find your personal copy and rename it to avoid confusion.
Launch your project into Studio and start editing!
FAQ
Why is "duplicate" not an option in the project dropdown in Portal?
If your project was created from a Smart Template on the Portal Home Page, the Duplicate option will not be available due to the auto-linking nature of the project.
You can still duplicate the ReX-generated content within ReX, but not the linked Studio project in Portal.
FYI - Future State: ReX 2 (Coming 2026)
In the upcoming version of ReX:
There will be a single, unified project portal—ReX projects and Studio projects will no longer exist separately.
Project management actions, like sharing, duplicating, and updates, will all be handled within this unified experience.
