To end the conversation, drag and drop a Conversation Conclusion block and connect it to an answer option. Ensure each answer option at the end has its own Conversation Conclusion block.
FAQ
In this early version of branching conversations, the selected character’s name in ReX might not align with the character’s gender in Studio. This issue is being addressed and will be improved in the next iteration.
Will this work on existing projects?
If a project was created on or after 6/24, the branching conversation feature should work with that project.
What activity does this work with in Studio?
Currently, this activity exports to the Conversation activity in Studio. It does not export into Video Response
Can I connect multiple answer options into a Statement and Three Response Block or a Conclusion Block?
Currently, you can only connect one answer option to one Statement and 3 Responses Block.
When the project is moved into Studio, you’ll be able to connect multiple answer options to a Statement, but the content itself won’t change. So, if you make changes to the flow in Studio, be sure to update the content accordingly.
Why don’t I see the Play button?
If the Play button is not visible, ensure that the block is properly connected to the preceding block.
Why does the conversation look bunched up when in the Studio editor?
Upon initial import from ReX, the conversation appears collapsed. To expand and view the conversation more clearly, click the Auto-Format button in the bottom navigation. Then, click Confirm to auto-format the flow. This will expand the conversation, making it easier to review and navigate.
