Inserting URL's in the Rich Text Editor allows learners to hyperlink out to external resources!

DIY STEPS
Note: This works on any Rich Text Editor (RTE) component within every template in Studio.
Within the page, click the pencil icon to edit the text.
Write the text you want learners to see, then highlight the text you want to make clickable.
On the RTE toolbar, find and click the Insert URL icon.
Click the Insert URL icon and enter the URL you want to direct learners to. Click Save.
The hyperlinked text will appear blue, underlined, with an icon next to it, indicating it’s clickable.
To preview the hyperlink, click Preview in the top navigation of the Studio.

Where in Studio can I include a hyperlink?
You can include a hyperlink in any activity template that includes a Rich Text Editor (RTE).
What happens if the learner clicks on a hyperlink, and it does not work?
It is the author's responsibility to test the URL before the learning experience is launched to learners. If links break or need updating, the author must make the necessary changes.

The hyperlink text should clearly indicate its purpose or destination. Avoid vague text like "click here" or "read more." Instead, use descriptive text that makes sense out of context, such as "Download the accessibility guidelines.
