How to: Organize Projects With Folders
Updated over a week ago

Folders are a great way to organize, view, and duplicate your projects.

SimGate Portal is the spot to create new projects or organize existing ones. At the start, you may have a single project or a couple of projects that get shared with you. However, as your library of projects grows you’re going to want to get organized.

Folders are a great way to organize similar projects together. For example, if you had created a simulation on “Strategic Thinking” and “Transformational Leadership,” it would make sense to create a “Leadership” folder and move those into that folder.

Follow the steps below to help you get organized.

How to create a new folder

Select the +new folder icon on the top right navigation

Clean New Folder

To rename the folder (or remove the folder), select the three icons on the right side of the folder.

Clean Rename

How to duplicate or move projects:

Select the move or duplicate icon on the right side of the project

Clean Move
Clean Duplicate

How to mark projects as "favorites"

Star your favorite projects by selecting the star option from the three icons on the top right side of the project.

Clean Star

Starred projects will appear in the "star section" of the SimGate Portal.
